The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts of :

ENGINEER – SC (ELECTRICAL)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electrical Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in design and implementation of electrical (low voltage and high voltage) systems, testing of various electrical systems and cross-integration between disciplines of related engineering fields. 

ENGINEER (PROJECT) (ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION) 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : (No. of Post – 1) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electronics & Communication Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in the Electronics circuit designing and testing in industries. Knowledge of PXI system and Labview software is added advantage. Basic electronics knowledge is must required.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : (No. of Post – 1) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electronics & Communication Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in Electronics and Communication / Fresh M.Tech. degree in the relevant subject. 

ENGINEER (PROJECT) (INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL) 

 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : (No. of Post – 1) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Instrumentation & Control Engineering having minimum 1 year working experience in designing and development of instrument and control system, knowledge of field instruments like temperature, flow, pressure transmitter, etc. Knowledge of electronics CAD software is added advantage. 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : (No. of Post – 1) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Instrumentation & Control Engineering having minimum 1 year working experience in Instrumentation / Fresh M.Tech. degree in the relevant subject.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : (No. of Post – 1) : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Instrumentation & Control Engineering having minimum 1 year working experience  

ENGINEER (PROJECT) (MECHANICAL)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum 1 year working experience in Engineering Design & Analysis / Fresh M.Tech. degree in the relevant subject.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : M.Sc. Physics (First Class) having minimum 1 year working experience in operation of excimer laser, heat pipe oven, spectroscopy, vacuum systems and  data analysis using Origin. 

SAFETY ASSISTANT (PROJECT) No. of Post – 1  QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:  Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (Fresh) (First Class) with Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized University / Technical Examination Board.  Preference may be given if any additional courses done in the field of Fire Safety.  

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (PROJECT) (ELECTRICAL / POWER ELECTRONICS / ELECTRONICS / MECHANICAL) QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:  Diploma in Electrical / Power Electronics / Electronics / Mechanical (Fresh) (First Class) from recognized University / Technical Examination Boards. 

TRADESMAN (PROJECT) (ELECTRICIAN) No. of Posts – 2 

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : I.T.I. (First Class) Electrician Trade preferably with two years experience in wiring of single phase and three phase systems, electrical Panel wiring, cable laying and should be familiar with various types of electrical measuring instruments. Experience in working with RF systems and HV systems will be an added advantage. Candidate should have basic knowledge of electrical machines like transformers etc.  

REMUNERATION / Salary : Posts from Sl.No.1  to 5: Consolidated Rs.29000/-p.m. : Sl.No.6 and 7 Consolidated Rs.18000/- p.m.: Sl.No.8 Consolidated Rs.9500/- p.m.

AGE Limit : 35 years and relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates, 3 years for Other Backward Class and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
